“I have used K P Tyres for several years (initially on the recommendation of my MD) for both new tyres and puncture repairs. Great bunch of polite professional guys who know their business. The premises are a little restricted on space as they share a drive with a window company but they manage it well and I have never had (or witnessed) any issues as a consequence. They supply quality brands at sensible prices. I have today had a new set of 4 tyres installed. The replacement cost of replacing like for like would have been around £840. They offered similar quality tyres of another brand (un-prompted) for around £630 but rounded down to £600 quote. After they were fitted, I went to pay and was charged £585 and the tyres are superb. To me, the most important thing about this company is that they are honest and if a tyre doesn't need changing, they will tell you so. On at least two occasions I have visited to seek advice on tyres that had some sidewall damage due to kerbing and been told the tyre was both safe and legal. It's refreshing to know there are companies about that will advise customers not to buy unless they really need too. Judging by how busy they can be, I think their volume of business speaks for itself in terms of what their customers think of the service. Many thanks K P Tyres. ”
